That’s right they are rocking it! They are launching their flagship Metal 3D Printer called the Metal X which will start shipping on the 3rd Quarter of 2017.
So tell me more about the Metal X
Markforged Metal X also known as Atomic Diffusion Additive Manufacturing (ADAM) will be able to create unique geometrical parts in metal. This is not possible using the traditional subtractive manufacturing process. In fact with this technology, one can make complex parts in metal and with the geometrical design, you can save on time and material rather than having it in full solid! In addition, parts can be printed like the structure of bones, a closed cell inner core encased in a solid outer shell.

ADAM Prints yours part using bound metal powder that converts into a dense part (99.7%) in one easy step. After debinding the plastic and through the sintering process, crystal growth through all axes giving your parts excellent mechanical properties in all direction! It’s that simple.
